Nigel Bauer & Associates Ltd. (NBA) takes the protection of your personal data seriously and it is our policy to operate at all times in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations applicable in the UK and EU. Nigel Bauer & Associates Ltd. includes the NBA Aviation Training Academy.
“Personal Data” is information which can be used on its own or in combination with other information to identify a living individual. It may sometimes be necessary to transfer personal information to trainers, contractors and partner organisations located outside of the UK and EU. Any transfers made will be in full compliance with all aspects of the data protection act.

Our website is hosted by a third-party provider rbwebsitedesign.co.uk, a UK based website design and hosting company.
Should you choose to contact us using the contact form on this website or an email link, none of the data that you supply will be stored on this website. The data will instead be stored by ourselves on the data storage systems of Nigel Bauer & Associates and/or the associated NBA Aviation Training Academy. The data collected will include your name, company name, email address, country, area of interest and a message/enquiry. This data will allow us to respond to your message. Your data will be stored for as long as we have a relationship with you or until you request removal of your details from our system.
You will not receive any unsolicited emails from us unless you have selected/ticked the relevant consent box beneath our contact form.
Marketing
If you wish to remain in contact with us for the purpose of being advised of future services or training course availability your Postal and/or email address will remain within our database until you specifically request removal from the list by emailing us direct
For training course customers, we will use your contact details to send information in relation to your identified area(s) of interests, such new courses titles, dates of courses. The processing of your personal data is necessary for the purposes of our legitimate interests and does not affect your fundamental rights and freedoms as a data subject.
Training Course Policy
Training courses can be booked by the delegate or on behalf of the delegate by an organisation, or by another individual. Delegate information provided by email or electronically will be utilised by NBA and/or the NBA Aviation Training Academy and only shared with the necessary trainer(s), contracted individual or organisation providing training and/or consultancy services or any partner training course provider, or consultancy service provider that you request us to pass your details to. Trainers, partner training organisations, and contracted organisations are required to delete and destroy securely all data relating to training course delegates immediately after training course delivery.
The system used to process your information is based in the UK and/or EU, and is only used for the purpose of booking, coordinating and managing delegate attendance to training courses or the provision of consultancy services.
The system we use to process your payment is by direct invoice and bank transfer. Processing of payment information is required for the performance of accepting bookings of delegates onto training courses or entering into a specific contract with you to provide consultancy related services.
You are responsible for ensuring that all information submitted by you is accurate, complete, and up to date. NBA and the NBA Aviation Training Academy takes all reasonable steps to ensure that information collected is correct, however, NBA will rely upon you to contact us to update or verify your personal information.

Online Training
When you attend on-line training provided by NBA or the NBA Aviation Training Academy, we use either Zoom or Microsoft Teams as our training platform. We do not supply them with your personal details and you will only receive links for training course attendance direct from us. We do not allow audio, video recording or photographs of any training course or any part thereof, including copying of Visual Aids. Our data and your data will be protected.

How long we keep your personal information
Non-Training Services: We keep your personal information for as long as you have a relationship with us and, thereafter, for specified purposes in line with our legal duties, to respond to any questions or complaints, or to maintain records according to European or National aviation rules that apply to us. When you are invoiced for a service, we will keep your details for 7 years as required by UK law, after which all personal data will be deleted or destroyed.
