Course Overview
This five-day course is specifically designed to provide an understanding of both the Initial and ongoing oversight processes, together with the principles and practice of auditing, to enable the development or improvement of a regulatory organisation’s safety regulatory oversight process. It focuses on key principles and is designed to suit a broad range of regulatory auditing activities relating to Aerodromes, Flight Operations, Airworthiness, Training organisations, UAV operations etc. undertaken by individuals or multi-disciplinary teams and provides them with the necessary tools and techniques to plan and undertake oversight auditing activities that verify regulatory compliance and process effectiveness.
The course covers the principles and practice of conducting an initial oversight of an organisation for regulatory compliance and ongoing oversight to verify continued compliance. Auditing techniques are used as an integral part of both processes. The course is based on EU regulations and the ICAO oversight model.
The course revolves around a case study organisation that requires formal approval, following which it is necessary for the regulatory authority to construct an ongoing audit oversight program to verify continued compliance. Interactive trainer-led discussions on auditing problems & solutions are an integral part of the course.
