Course Overview
This course is a one day workshop, aimed at Accountable Managers, Nominated Persons, Safety/Compliance Managers and other applicable management staff, to provide them with a thorough and practical overview of their responsibilities and obligations directly to European Regulations.
The course commences with an overview of the EU aviation regulatory system and describes the interaction of the Regulations with the EASA published Acceptable Means of Compliance, Guidance Material and Certification Specifications, as applicable.
Thereafter the workshop traces the common elements across multiple regulations in terms of personnel requirements (qualifications/experience), duties and responsibilities, Management Systems (specificallly Safety Management and Compliance monoitoring systems).
The workshop consists of theoretical modules and the learning objectives are reinforced through practical exercises.

Who Should Attend
The course is suitable for management staff from all disciplnes in civil aviation such as but not limited to Air Operations; Training Organisations; Approved Maintenance Organisations; Continuing Airworthiness Management Organsiations; Aerodromes and Air Navigation/ATS Service providers.
Learning Objectives
On completion of this course the delegate will have developed a sufficient knowledge of European aviation regulations pertaining to Aviation Management to allow them to perform their prescribed duties legally and effectively. In addition, the successful delegate will be proficient in finding and applying the relevant regulatory standards in a compliant fashion to their organisation.
Prerequisites
A background in aviation with current or prospective management responsibilities.
The ability to understand and converse in English is also a requirement.
