Course Overview
Safety in flight and ground operations requires a well-developed and effectively implemented Management System. An AOC holder will need to ensure therefore that the management system, related processes and associated procedures are being effectively implemented together with adequate discharge of responsibilities to ensure continued compliance with regulations, company requirements and where appropriate IATA membership requirements. EU Regulations require an effective compliance monitoring process that provides adequate feedback to the Accountable Manager, together with determination of root causes of findings and adequacy of corrective actions.
The course covers the essential aspects of compliance monitoring and auditing as applicable to Flight & Ground Operations and takes participants through the process of planning, conducting and reporting a compliance monitoring audit together with the process of correction, corrective action, audit close out and audit follow up. It provides a collection of techniques that will assist the conduct of compliance monitoring audit activities, including those that relate to contracted service provision. The course is highly participative and promotes best practices that have become the benchmark in the industry.
