Course Overview

Continued airworthiness requires fully effective maintenance activities and maintenance management processes. An approved organisation will need to ensure therefore that all processes and related procedures are being effectively implemented together with adequate discharge of responsibilities to ensure continued compliance with regulations and internal requirements. Part 145 and Part M requires an effective internal compliance monitoring /  audit process that will provide adequate feedback to the Accountable Manager that compliance is being maintained

The course is highly participative and promotes auditing practices that have become the benchmark in the industry and will be of benefit to those who are new to auditing as well as those who require recurrent training or wish to broaden their audit competence in the field of aircraft maintenance.

It covers the essential aspects of compliance monitoring and auditing as applicable to Part 145 and Part M, and takes participants through the process of planning, conducting and reporting a compliance monitoring audit together with the process of correction, corrective action, audit close out and audit follow up It provides a collection of techniques that will assist the conduct of compliance monitoring audit activities throughout the maintenance process.
